One Good Thing

Practicing the art of selective focus to turn down the volume on anxiety-provoking chaos strengthens us to face greater challenges with grace.


Today's Challenge:


Pay attention to what irritates you today. Perhaps you will find yourself in a slow checkout line, stuck in traffic, or someone didn't do what they were supposed to do... again!


Shift your attention to something positive - a lovely color, scent, music playing in the background, or even a fond memory.


Pull the good thing to the front of your mind like the rose in this photo. Hold it there for a moment and notice how you feel when you release.


Is the trigger situation as irritating as it was before?
