Mothers

Today I pause to offer my respect to women who use their bodies to transport beings onto this plane of existence. No one would be here without you.
I also honor the nurturers, teachers, and protectors of children. I remember those who care for adults, elders, plants, animals, and the earth herself. The mothering spirit is strong within us, regardless of gender, anatomy, age or reproductive ability. All that lives needs love and encouragement.
No one does this alone.
