I’d rushed home like an excited school kid with an A+ paper, expecting validation as if from a proud “parent.”
What does the response mean?
I feel that doing our “best” is enough, and no one, not even God, expects any more from us. Perhaps this message is a reminder to be humble about what we accomplish.
Yes, I know. Some people react poorly to the stern fatherliness of a male-represented deity called “God.” Insert whatever term you are comfortable with. To me, the true nature of the Divine is far beyond the limitations of the human mind to comprehend. What I call God feels like love to me, and there is nothing more to see than light. Sometimes, I suspect, Spirit comes through humans who speak from the heart and offer a gentle hand to others.
If you think this post is a departure for the author of The Stain, keep reading the series. We all start off somewhere, and Cassandra is just getting started.

Yes. It was a powerful dream that woke me and I wrote it down so I would not forget!
I originally posted this on Facebook on November 18, 2018:
"I rushed home to Spirit in a dream. I excitedly asked, "how did I do this time?," knowing I had done well, clearly seeking validation.
The reply was, "It is easy to do a little more good every day."
???
I didn't see God, btw. I felt it, like being wrapped in a familiar warm loving hug I absolutely belonged to/in/was never far from. I heard the words in my mind.
Thoughts welcome "
Did that message / reply really come to you in a dream?
