Here We Go

I woke early, nervous ahead of my first public appearance tonight. I am leaving the safety of my tower after years of writing in isolation, stumbling out naked, vulnerable, and totally unprepared for what happens next.

“People can see me?” I cry out in shock, scrambling for something nice to wear.
