The approach to the longest night of the year in the North can be very challenging. We may feel weighed down by memories of what we've lost and our mistakes from the past.
This is a cleansing process - the murky stuff rises from our shadows so we can release it and move into the new year lighter and ready for new experiences. Trust the process and allow these ghosts to pass through.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, don't turn to distractions - turn to another and offer a comforting smile. It is okay to be human.
